For those of you not in the Pacific NW, we had a major snafu with our weather forecasting yesterday.

Most areas got 8 - 10 inches. People weren’t expecting it. Drivers weren’t ready, snow plows weren’t on alert. Lots of people stuck in traffic for 6, 8, 10 hours. Highways shut down, cars abandoned, some people spent the night in their vehicles.

Yep, all good here. I like snow, don’t have to go out, and the power stayed on. But people are mmmaaaaaaaddddddd that the city couldn’t get the roads cleared so people could get home.

I saw one story where a woman called her boss at 9 am today to say she wouldn’t be in to work because she just got home from the day before.

It’s crazy windy too, and I’m sure there will be plenty of downed trees.
