I’ve still managed to not hear Wham! this year; but I’m currently hearing “Santa Claus Wants Some Lovin’” for the second time today, and think I heard 3 versions of Rudolph in my short trip to Whole Foods today. 
ETA: and now, just a few minutes later, hearing “Back Door Santa” again for the second time today. Tempted to turn off the radio and play my own music.

The irony is that an escape room is such a great activity for kids stuck to their phones.
It’s out of the house, the solutions require creative thinking, the answers can’t be googled, they have to interact in person with other people…
When we did this as a child, people thought we were just playing …
When we did this as an adult, people labeled it as having a multiple personality disorder. Since this tended to lean towards people looking at us sideways, we no longer talk to each other in public …
