Another thing donât like how MP promotion is set up: Once a sale is active, you can only view or cancel it, there is no way to extend it for a bid longer.
I was thinking of extend my sale for a little longer, since it hasnât brought any sales, and with the âNo dataâ glitch on the site, I couldnât even tell if people were viewing more. Guess I just have to let it expire then set up a new one for a longer time period, and then maybe cancel before the expiration date if I donât want to continue doing the sale.
It should become active on the date and the time you set, so unless you set it midnight or so on May 30th, your sale should be active by now.
If itâs a multi-item or whole shop sale, my experience has been, not all the items became active (showing on the product page) at the the time you set, some of them can be several hrs later.
I finally got 1 sale on MP last night, with the 10% discount.
The sale promotion was set to end at âJune 1, 2024 at 11:59 PM (Pacific Daylight Time)â, but when I checked this morning, it has already ended (in âcompletedâ status).
So it must ended midnight last night, one day too early. It didnât matter that much for me this time, but just another bug in the system to be aware of.
You might want to try it again. After seeing your post, I set up a new sale for my folded books, and it went through as soon as I submited, no spinning. Itâs now on the âScheduledâ list for active at 7 AM today.
I tried a third time with 4 items and it got to âsuccessfulâ page, which also showed the first two as scheduled even though they did not get past the spinning wheel, or to the âsuccessfulâ page. Deleted all but the first one so weâll see.
My sale promotion went live but still only shows on the order page. Anyone know how long it takes to show in a search? I see others showing up on a search page.
My sale that started this morning at 7 AM doesnât have the strike through right now. From previouse saels, I think it took few hours (donât remember how many) for the strike though to show up on search results.
Here is another âSaleâ bug, one of my sale item from this morning, $95 regular price with a 10% discount, and this is whatâs showing on the product page:
Going to keep an eye on it to see if itâll get fixed by itself, but not really holding my breath. The way the âsaleâ system is, I most likely will have to cancel the current sale of all the items on it, instead of just this one item, in order to fix this massed up sales price.
I do see your items having the red sales price with the strike though on search result now. My items with the sales I set up yesterday morning also have the same thing now.
So, maybe the sale price with strike though showing on search result happens after the midnight update?
