And now all my listings are gone!!
Listing gone!
Are you sure you didnāt end up on the Manage Inventory for the Brazil platform?
The screenshot indicates it was trying to take you to a page for the Brazil platform.
When I did it (the right way) I didnāt go to the Brazil side at all.
Iām positive. It says that my U.S. store is still active but Brazil is inactive.
Even stranger, I received an order a few hours ago so something is visible to buyers.
Iām opening up a case right now as I write this.
Please do keep us updated, Stripes.
I suspect that I just might know what the best troubleshooting steps for fixing this may be, because Iāve been following the various GEI (āGlobal Expansion Initiativeā) snafus for many years, but this latest go-round with melding in BZ to the recently-renamed āAmericasā Regional Marketplace has thrown many of us into nearly-irresolvable backwaters of The River, so every single data point could prove to be the gold nugget weāre all looking for.
Any update @Racing_Stripes ? ![]()

@papy A small update.
I think the āBrazil problemā may be resolved. (Emphasis on āmay beā). I talked to two different CSRās at Amazon. The first CSR kept putting me on hold to ācheck on somethingā. Eventually the line disconnected. I donāt know if it was intentional or unintentional. I put in a second request and talked with another CSR. With him on the phone, I clicked on the links that had previously given a bad response. This time they worked. And the blaring red warning box was gone from my Seller Central page.
Re: Missing listings. There is a white box in the upper left-hand corner of the Seller Central page. For me itās always shown one market, the U.S. With the Brazil debacle, it defaulted to the Brazil market (that is on vacation) and thus the listings disappeared. I changed it back to U.S. and the listing reappeared. The Brazil debacle has very long tentacles.
Which brings me to the next issue. With the Brazil issue āresolvedā (cough, cough), another issue arose. Amazon wanted me to verify my bank information. I clicked on all the proper links and the bots decided that the name on my bank information does not match my Amazon account information. Arrrrgh!! So now I have to provide a copy of my latest bank statement. I can tell you right now that there will be a problem. The account number matches and my statement shows deposits from Amazon. But the name on my bank account is slightly different from the name on my Amazon account. Iām not sure how it will all turn out.
YES! Exactly this. Too many problems.
Well, Iām thankful that your listings are preserved, but all of that creating the bank account issue is so frustrating. Hopefully it will be close enough? Or have the same address? Perhaps @oneida_books has some insight. ![]()
@papy Itās the same bank account that Iāve always used for Amazon for over 20 years. Iām the only one on the account. Just small differences in which middle initial is used or not used (middle name/maiden name). Not an exact match with what Amazon has. The bank has no problem with that so why should Amazon?
When I send them the PDF of the bank statement, I plan to point out the last few deposits from Amazon. Those numbers will match Amazonās records.
Interesting as our middle initial isnāt on Amazon account but is on our bank account. We got our statement through.

I uploaded my bank statement and it was immediately approved. My name appears three different ways on this single statement. ![]()
Iām not sure why the Amazon bots were making such a fuss about this.
Brazil⦠The Evilest of the Amazon marketplacesā¦
Screwed Tried_Tested hard. Locked us out of our account for invalid / non-existent CC issue, did this to you⦠I think there was another member here that had the same issue I did.
Just imagine how many issues it has caused to sellers on Amazon if 3 or 4 of us here (group of 340) (1%) had a problem.
REALLY happy to hear that your issue seems to be squared away after just a short time.
During the 2023 ID verification fiasco, I was really worried because my middle initial was expressed differently on my driverās license and my credit card statement (and completely missing from my utility billsā¦) but the credit card statement I uploaded was accepted. Boy, was I relieved.
I still have not added a deposit method for Brazil, and have not gotten any warnings. But I wonāt be surprised if I do, eventually.
After my initial lockout on March 31, I have not had any issues caused by the addition of the Brazil store, which is on vacation. I did have to designate a different credit card for both U.S. and Brazil, and I have not yet tried to switch back to the card I had had on file for so many years I couldnāt even guess.
Same here.
Thirded.
Seconded.
I aināt on the edge my seat, much less tenterhooks - but I am always on the prowl for this or that Amazon-automated mechanism (or tweaking of them due to this and that new initiative) throwing yet another monkey-wrench into the works.
Nor have I, and I donāt plan to because I wonāt be selling there.

Case in point:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/94666937-d7f2-402e-9ecc-996932a40e61
Bryce responded to that OP earlier today, thanking him/her for their patience over the last 7 months while the infernal internal team investigated (fat chance of that, methinks!) - and requiring that a NEW case be opened.
Simply put, Amazon has gotten too big for its breeches britches.
Just ran across NR_Amazonās 081825 post here, which is the very-first time Iāve ever seen a member of Amazonās FMT-CMT (āForum Moderation Teamā, rebranded to āCommunity Manager Teamā) publicly acknowledge said 'fifth possibility" (bolded emphasis mine):
Itās also worth noting that NR_Amazonās recommendation re: Return Settings has long been known for sporadic failures of promised results - thatās exactly why I first began pointing out examples of this āfifth possibilityā as far back as the pre-020218 āAge of Jiveā era over in the ASF (āAmazon Seller Forumsā) - and I continue to maintain that the drivers of this phenomenon are almost-certainly arising as a result of Amazonās fervent embrace of the Silo Manglement Management Model, leavened with its feverish disdain of expending funds for what it laughingly calls a support infrastructure.
