Re-verify Business Address

The yellow “Alert” box showed up again, this time it’s for “business address”, but when I clicked the link and get to the Business address page, it shows both Phone & Address as already verified successfully:

I didn’t see a way to “verify” the address, so I just selected “Add new address” link, thinking it’d trigger a postcard being sent to me for verification. It brought up a form where I filled with my business address & phone # and submitted. That didn’t give me the the note that said a post card will be sent to me with a code (like a lot of you said you got). It just brought me right back to the same page (Shown above)where it said Phone & Address verified successfully.

So, is my business address truly re-verified? The yellow “Alert” box and banners are still there, I’m hoping it just means the system need more time to update for the “Alert” to go away. But not sure

What is you guys’ process of verifying your address? Did your business address page have any other link besides “Add a new address” (like in my above screenshot) for verification?

Did anybody able to verify the address successfully without have to get a postcard?

I was reading some of the posts on NSFE, and looks like there are other sellers who were try to verify address and in the same situation as I’m, didn’t receive the note with the estimated delivery date of the post card, and also no box to enter the verification code, such as this one another seller got:

So even if I do receive a postcard, I don’t have anywhere to enter it.

Anybody else here have this same situation? How did you resolve this problem?

Maybe open a case with Seller Support to be safe and take some screenshots just to CYA…?

Your screen shot makes it look like you can enter the code after you get the card? But it does take a while for the card, I think mine came on the last day or one before. If they haven’t shipped it (it comes priority mail in a big flat white paper envelope), I would not worry yet.

My above last screenshot was from another seller’s post, I was trying to say after trying to verify my address, my DO NOT have that same information and the box to enter the code, as in the screenshot, even if I received the postcard in a few days I don’t have the box to enter the code.

I was in the same situation for about a week (no box for code), then one day I looked at account health page and instead of the grey boxes for all the verifications, the address verification box was green and had an open circle to click on. Clicking on it goes to another screen saying a card was sent with the timeline and a box to enter the code exactly as your pic showed.

I would wait a few more days and see if anything comes. If not, open a case with seller support. I doubt they will be helpful but at least you have documentation that you are trying to solve the issue if it comes down to that.

I probably shouldn’t have included that last screenshot, that was a screenshot of another seller’s post, I didn’t have that same information and the box to enter the code.

Question, when you clicked on your open circled “Business Address” link and the next page came up already has the timeline and the box to enter the code? You didn’t have to do anything, like re-enter the address using the “add a new address” link ?

Open a case. The estimated delivery of the post card in the second image is June 7 which was 2 days ago. You were verified and this was another one of this glitch riddled process. Hopefully, you haven’t triggered another post card, but … if you have and get one, then enter it in on the page showing.

The second image in my post was from another seller’s post. I don’t have that timeline nor the box to enter code on my business address page.

Probably have to do that to figure out what’s going on.

Open a case. We doubt that you will get much of anything back but a generic answer but it will at least document what has happen to you.

It took about a week for mine to show this message

First they had changed my business address to my home address, I had to change it back to what it had been. Then there was no action available or explanation for days. I kept checking the page and finally it showed what is pictured above.
I am now checking daily for the post card, hasn’t arrived yet.

Did you have that timeline for receiving postcard and the box to enter the code?

Not yet. The message about the postcard showed up last Thursday or Friday. No timeline. I don’t have a box for the code either.
Maybe they have tracking on the postcard (if that’s possible) that will trigger the box to appear when delivered?? I didn’t know some were seeing a delivery timeline.

That link goes to my business address and phone page, which shows both address & Phone very verified successfully. Clicked the link to verify address, but I don’t have the postcard delivery timeline or the box to enter the code, so don’t know where to enter the code the postcard does show up in a few days.

I’m going to wait for the card and then open a case if necessary. Or sooner if the card does not show up by Monday which will be beyond the 5-7 business day window.

The one that they have been sending money to for 10+ years Ugh!

That’s same for me. That list was all green check marked before it went away early last week, then yesterday that yellow “Alert” box showed up again on SC and this list too with the link to Business Address, but click on it shows:

The link you provided bring me to the above screenshot saying my address verified, which was the same like that before the “Alert” box showed up yesterday, there is no postcard delivery timeline or the box to enter the code on that page, so I don’t know if my business address really is already verified or there is some kind of glitch cause the box for enter the verification code not showing up.

Yes, it already had the code box and the timeline. They didn’t actually mail anything for another 3 days or so but all that was on the page already.

I had this too before they changed it to the wrong address. After I changed it back, it said verification would be needed on the address screen, but this didn’t show up for quite a few days

No timeline, no estimated delivery date, no code box
