I believe she was one of the only employees at Amazon that care about 3PS, full stop
Maybe? Because that seems due to a lack of help and replies. Much of the contention was from OPs not liking the available remedies, or being told there were none, in replies. Now, they can’t get too salty because there just aren’t any replies.
Ain’t that the truth! There’s even one “trusted” OSFE user (not here on SellersAskSellers) whose “engagement” via PMs I’m now coming to question.
Not to mention the UN-trusted users.
These were driven out the first time they posted and people saw their real names, it was hilarious.
I received a SEAMod response
Yeah she dropped the ball on this one
From way back
Lone reply - saying to stop selling international if it’s not worth it.
And you’re absolutely correct! Amazon pushes pushes pushes international marketplaces, global selling, international FBA–all to Sellers who might trust Amazon’s recommendations and who might not yet be savvy enough to even know all costs to consider, if consider they do.
The warnings from experienced Amazon Sellers to take Amazon recommendations–for shipping, services, new products, pricing, literally any recommendation–with the tiniest grain of salt is SORELY MISSING from the NSFE.
Because the experienced Amazon Sellers not buying Amazon’s every schtick are also SORELY MISSING from the NSFE.
Thank you for your service over there @Sundance.
It could be that SEAmod is going to replace many of the absent posters who have pointed to the seller responsibility to make business decisions position @Sundance is currently advocating.
Another indication that Original Susan is using the SEAmod profile (or, at least is using it some of the time; I’m still not entirely convinced she’s the only one who is) would seem to be her last reply to this NSFE discussion:
FBA Return Fraud, again! Can’t get reimbursed! (link)
That sounds an awful lot like Susan, @ least to me.
This right here is a, ouch
She might as well teach them the difference between light and dark and black and white while she’s at it.
Typical. At least the seller didn’t get their thriving account shut down by asking a question.
They get bashed a lot.
But dammit, that’s because they deserve it.
I remember a conversation some while ago with an agent who just couldn’t get past the idea that books don’t have UPC. I explained about ISBN and then explained that many many books don’t have that either.
She just insisted that If I kept looking I would find the UPC.
And the question did not hinge on ISBN or UPC – but she could not listen to anything at all with the unsolved missing UPC problem hovering in front of her.
I had to give up on her.
That’s because she learned one teeny tiny bit of information “Some items have UPCs” and she wants to use that tiny factoid on absolutely everything.
Me: “What’s an organic way of keeping beetles away from my plants?”
Agent: “Did you check the UPC code?”
She wanted you to be impressed with her use of the term “UPC” even if she’s ignorant of the actual problem.
Very much this.
Amazon is beta testing their cognitive implant.
We must rescue her and cut it out.
NOTE: This is a SEAmod post supporting OP’s recommendations that Sellers abandon the Amazon ship. (h/t @Dogtamer)
If she stopped before this line, ok. But Ykes
Wow. That post has the feel of someone who just became self-aware in the matrix but can’t get out.
Sorta - Susan has always been well-rounded (there’s a reason why our well-missed friends Deb, Rush, et al.'s coining of the appellation “Our Forum Angel” found so much fluency in our Seller Community for so many years before SWNBN began throwing bricks & grenades indiscriminately, and the Screeching Harpy’s “solution” for that paradigm, by most-all available lights which I can see, wound up producing the launch of the increasingly-execrable NSFE - but if there’s an Amazonian who knows more than most of them about How Things Work in the Amazonosphere, I’d submit that it’s likely to be SusanH.
MOD NOTE, One Name Changed to an Acronym
