Updated guidance on returns and refunds(Amazon)

The initial link went to a 404 page and nothing is new. They had to correct the link and many of the links go to a 404 page.

Many complaints about items coming back destroyed and at best getting a 20% restocking fee.

Most likely Amazon’s bottom line at the expense of 3rd party sellers.

Received sunscreen today and it looks good and smells good but today is 7/22 and the expiration date says 5/26. Should I send it back?

Just received the craziest message I’ve ever seen.
Not even sure what the issue is. Is it they want 2 cents back or is because they can find a specific version of the product?

The member of the Amazon Buyer Community who sent you this is definitely all over the map with the complaints (at least some of which I’d judge to be valid) - but I think that the real problem is rooted in depending upon a dumbed-down computing device like a tablet.

Perhaps compounded by the all-too-common misperception that BS-M messages sent to a seller are automatically being addressed to Amazon itself…
