This is an old topic, but has anyone tried making a claim for Amazon Buy Shipping or Veeqo at the U-Pic site? I mean, I think that’s where our insurance goes through, right? I remember seeing U-Pic whenever I buy insurance on Amazon Buy Shipping.
Was the claim successful?
I’ve filed 2 claims in the last few months with USPS using GA thru Amazon buy shipping. Filed thru my USPS account. They cover up to $100 and refund postage as well. Paid promptly. Of course this would be only for lost (no delivery scanned) or damaged.
Do you have the USPS account connected to Amazon Buy Shipping? Do you get the lower USPS rates or the Amazon Buy Shipping rates?
No and I don’t think it can be linked.
This morning my usual package to zone 8 on Amazon buy shipping was 5.15 and on my usps account would have been 5.20
The opposite has been true for me.
I tried to file a claim for a lost package through USPS. Got denied, they needed to see the actual credit card charge slip for sellers. As it was an amazon order I did not have that.
Cust filed an A-Z and amazon funded etc. so I don’t have to worry about that.
I attached a copy of the packing list and a copy of the shipping label showing Amazon, Me, and the intended recipient and encountered no problems. The reimbursement was for the subtotal and the cost of the label.
ETA - I wonder if they have a mechanism in place to determine if Amazon funded me with an A-Z??? Which in my case I was not.
