Just received this in my email…
I have gotten it twice now and I’m all over that forum all the time!
Desperation from an abusive “partner”.
We all know that Amazon’s grasp of time can be a bit wobbly - but 2 years does not equal a 1000…
I never got one of these. I guess they don’t miss me.
If the disappointment becomes too much, I’ll let you all know.
LOL @Uncle_Leroy they forgot why you’re not there
I got one, too, a few months ago:
I got one and I’m active all the time on there lolololol.
More denigration of Handmade Artisans who regularly contribute, like you do, in the closed-but-visible Handmade Forum over in the NSFE, dammit.
I don’t really know how closed off the forums are. I’m not sure if the Handmade group is still super private?
I’m always curious if the regular non handmade sellers here at sellers ask sellers can see the amazon forum ? I don’t know if they know about all the handmade drama lol. I do my best over there to be loud, but I know not everyone here is over there and I think maybe even nonhandmade people here have just zero idea what Amazon has done to all the handmade vendors. It’s so sad!!
The “Handmade Community” Forum over in the NSFE - like the safe-space “New Seller Community” Forum is, as well - is ‘closed’ in the sense that only 3P Sellers who qualify for participation in those “groups” can make posts; there are no longer any required qualifications for the ability to read posts, as was the case in the last two iterations of the ASF (“Amazon Seller Forums”) for the CLOSED Handmade Forum which existed back in those OSFE days.
Compounding the error of making too-much publicly visible (and thus searchable and scrapable) with the launch of the NSFE, it was also found that Amazon had reneged on the promise of keeping the CLOSED Handmade Forum non-searchable and non-scrapable; whether by the cut of Hanlon’s Razor (sheer incompetence by the programming instructions, for example) or by that of malice aforethought is likely debatable - but there’s no question that Amazon defaulted - because, by said public exposure, we can ALL now see multiple pledges to that pact having been made in the formerly CLOSED Handmade Forum by the Moderators themselves back in those times.
I get banned for 1,000 years and then they have the nerve to ask me why I’m not there. Perfect illustration of everything wrong with Amazon.
Precisely. I got the email today.
When NSFE reinvented itself as a train wreck, I left and never looked back.
Yeah … but you were a bad boy.
I feel left out since I have NOT been invited. I’m guessing that a few people there wish I would just go away but I have tried not to cross TOO many lines (lately) so they don’t have a reason to bench me.
I bite my typing fingers so much that I have a blood trail on the keyboard from being ‘nice.’ NOT!
I got that email; I’m still posting 2-3x/mo. not much reason to participate when there’s nothing to comment on.
- the technical support is gone
- the lively forums are gone
- the personal chatty posts are banned if I remember correctly, if don’t remember correctly they certainly aren’t there any more, please correct me
- work or plans in progress discussions are gone
- they aren;t fun or helpful anymore
They were banned until someone realized they needed to drum up more activity, then those same mods who deleted the previous threads started trying to initiate them.
I think there was even a mod-initiated attempt to restart the “just laughing” thread.
I think I remember seeing that
I’m guessing that y’all may be referring to Dominic’s 102824 NSFE discussion here:
https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/a725c01e-f570-4956-88f9-3a0e1e2a2240
There have been other mentions of our well-missed friend @To_Your_Health’s original 092919 OSFE “Lighten Up!” thread by certain members of the FMT-CMT in 2024, and @ least one other stab @ replicating its wild success has been made by them, but I suspect Dominic’s attempt to gather interest is likely what y’all are thinking about…
It’s perhaps notable that the most pointed observations there, re: violation of NSFE Guidelines, seem to have been made by members of the SAS (to be fair, the OSFE Guidelines also included restrictions about creating ‘non-business’ topic-threads).
3 weeks. dead thread
But yet they keep on trying …
What product have you purchased on Amazon that you are thankful for?
by Cooper_Amazon updated by moderator 5 hours ago
Thanksgiving is the time of year to reflect on what we are thankful for and we were wondering…What product have you purchased on Amazon that you are thankful for?
- It could be something useful that you use everyday.
- Could be something sentimental (the Handmade Sellers are very talented)
- Maybe your favorite book (kindle) or movie (on Prime Video) purchased from the store?
Looking forward to seeing your replies in the comments below!

What’s Engage with Amazon? I like to think of it as a section of the forums where we can connect and collaborate together as a community. Everyone is welcome to chime into the discussion and share their unique perspectives. There’s really no pressure here, just a fun way to engage with each other.
