We only studied math up to calculus … who knew we needed to go all the way to Ground Hog math?

The Aztec’s are looking around right now and saying “I guess we need to sacrifice more people next year, its not working”.
I’ve spent a few hours this week shoveling snow into the street to get rid of some of it when it’s sunny. Still trying to make parking spaces since my neighbor, that rents, and I have been in a battle for the last year (often blocks my driveway), turning 1 spot into 2….
Anyway, I spent at least an hour digging a spot out for my daughter right after the storm, who’s car is very low to the ground, and this asshole always parks his Range Rover (that could climb MT Everest), in it.
Parking has been a big pain since this storm hit. I can’t wait for this ■■■■■■ to move out.
At least that’s snow that’s pretty to look at. None of that here.
Plus, I got stuck in the snow (in the municipal lot) when I went to the PO today. And since I’ve gotten lazy and careless with having multiple years of no snow, I didn’t have the stuff with me to help get out (shovel, salt, kitty litter). I was there about an hour; pretty much blew the day for me. I’m ready for the big melt, although I don’t think that will be any time soon.
I just looked at the forecast for tomorrow (actually today, as it’s now 1:40 am). Temps dropping, and winds picking up. Mid teens by early afternoon, with windchill as low as -20!
I think I’ll be staying inside all day.
We got above freezing with some sun briefly in Indy. Melted some snow off the roads and moderately dark spots but anywhere that is still bright white snow barely changed.
Ever heard of the parking system in Boston? You shovel a spot for your car, and when your car is not in it, you leave a lawn chair or an old tire to mark your spot. Apparently it works well to prevent fist fights.

Nine degrees now, in Manhattan, going down to 4 degrees tonight, with wicked wind blasts.
That happens in most of NJ and PA also. You should see some of the Pittsburgh ones! Seen photos of toilets, a Jesus statue, and even a full couch!
When I was 18 and lived in PA, I had just started driving tractor trailer for my dad. We had had a snow storm of 24"+ and most city streets were single lanes after people had dug out their cars and piled the snow in the street next to their cars. These piles were 6’ high in most places with a small exit for the car.
I was coming down a steep hill when a car turned into the same single lane from the bottom. He kept driving at me like he expected me to pull over and let him by, but there was nowhere to pull over. When it looked like he wasn’t going to stop, I hit the brakes, causing the rear of the tractor to slide into one of these 6’ tall mountains of snow, knocking it over and burying the car that had recently been dug out. The car driver realized the error of his ways and backed back down the hill while I followed him, hoping the owner of the car I just buried didn’t happen to look out of their house. Fun times!
15-18" of fresh powder per day is not “Snow Showers”. That’s “Snow” or “Blizzard”
Isn’t that close to Donner Pass?
Maybe … did she mention anything about bring the kids back home or anything about take out meals?

Be sure to clear the snow off the TOP of your vehicle before driving.
Thats a Full Send!
No, its like 6 whole inches on the map. Or in Texas speak.. OKC to Dallas, or Houston to SA.
Must have been a plastic light housing with LED lights. The old cast aluminum housings with 1" thick glass lenses would have taken that snow off…or pulled the poles down trying.
