What are you most common INR addresses?

,

This has been a fluke week for me…2 scammers in one week. I just tell them to file an AtoZ claim and usually they disappear in to the river and try to scam someone else. They definitely do not want to get amazon involved when they direct message the seller…the one today I checked out on google maps and it showed an empty lot…lol Maybe they placed a new mobile home in to the rundown mobile home park?

Possible … Google has images from years back … they do get updated over time so one has to watch the date Google is providing with the image. A new housing development could show as a empty field.

Recently, we looked at ours and found out it had been update just this past July. It is kind of neat because we can look back to when we first got the property and, thru the Google images, see how much we have changed this 90+ year old house.

Brooklyn Apartments… those poor folks live in buildings with no doorman, no concierge, nothing but a common key or an electronic entry system - one wonders if they even have hot water. :wink:

Common mail rooms mean that packages are left on a shelf, and that anyone in the building, resident or visitor can just pick up a package and take it. This crappy security does NOT include the normal rational approach that one would expect, using the larger package-sized mailboxes, where the package goes in the big box, and the key to that big box goes into the mailbox of the recipient.

So, what do responsible people do? Have their packages delivered to a local business (most often a laundry), who signs for, and holds onto occasional deliveries for a flat monthly fee. But why pay extra for a service like this when Amazon and its sellers eat the cost of anything stolen?

Yep, Another

And thus the need for an A to Z template reply when Amazon Buy Shipping is used.

Hi {{{Customer}}},

Our shipments all have Delivery Tracking via USPS (United States Postal Service). USPS shows the following on your order:

9305520111410714XXXXXX
USPS Priority Mail Service
Delivered, In/At Mailbox
August 25, 2023, 10:34 am
CITY, STATE ZIP

We have attached a PDF with the full tracking information. Your package was delivered by the United States Postal Service and would have been delivered to your mail box. The package was a 10 x 6 Priority Mail Flat Rate envelope. If you do not locate the package with your mail, it is very important that you contact and report this lost/stolen mail to your local post office. USPS takes mail lost or stolen mail very seriously and will investigate the delivery which often includes reviewing the GPS location of delivery.

If you do not locate the package with your mail, the process to receive a refund of this shipment would be covered under Amazon’s A to Z policy. Under your orders on Amazon, locate this order and click the “Get Help” button on the side. When the page opens, select the items and then follow and answer the questions. Please note that the reason for contacting Amazon will be “Item Not Received”. Amazon will then review the order and make the decision on how to proceed or issue the refund.

Your package was sent to Amazon order shipping address:

{{{Shipping Name}}}
{{{Shipping Street Address}}}
{{{Shipping City State Zip}}}

It is very important that you contact and report this lost/stolen mail to your local post office if you do not locate the package and contact Amazon to open an A to Z claim for “Item Not Received”.

We apologize for the inconvenience created by USPS. The Amazon A to Z team will be who processes your “Item Not Received” claim.

Sincerely,
{{{Store Name}}}

Attach a PDF of the USPS site details of the delivery.

Most of the time, the customer comes back and says they found it or doesn’t reply at all and it is dropped (we assume they found it).

And if they file the A to Z claim, then Amazon covers the INR (which sometimes requires another appeal template to get Amazon to cover it).

Hi all, we have a ton of newbies to SAS, so I just want to clarify what is and is not ok to share in this public thread:

OK TO SHARE HERE

  • General description of delivery address type (e.g., college dorms, apartments without agents, rural routes, etc)
  • General description of buyer type (e.g., university departments, businesses, etc)
  • City, state, and zip

NOT OK TO SHARE HERE

  • Specific/complete addresses
  • Names of Buyers
  • Order IDs
  • Street names and numbers
  • Online search results related to Buyer-specific info
  • PII (Personally Identifiable Information)
  • Any details that violate the TOS of any ecommerce sales channel

So far, I don’t think we’ve had any problems (and if I missed an error or mistake, please flag the post for modmin attention), so I just wanted to make sure we continue to approach this important topic without violating any SAS Community Expectations.

I’m also going to mark this post as the Solution, so that it shows up with the OP.

:hugs: Thanks for being a part of the SellersAskSellers community!

And maybe they really didn’t receive it–I have personally been the victim of mail theft–but that’s not your responsibility as the Seller for an item that was definitely delivered.

I have no doubt that they didn’t receive it but where are all these Brooklyn orders going?
