📺 What I'm watching

When I let Youtube decide what I watch, these three songs wind up in the mix

I’ve drunk enough to have cried more than once while we all sang The Parting Glass.

I’ve seen Dougie; although didn’t get to hang with him afterward. I have to admit I’m not familiar with the others. I’ll have to check them out when I’m in that mood.

Just wrapped up Fallout S2, and in the middle of The Pit S2 (both granted S3 before airing S2!)

Okay, so we’ve been watching the Opening Ceremonies for the Olympics. Just got to the part where they introduced the mascots.

–small spoiler–

I swear, it looks like something from a horror film! WTF were they thinking???

I will say, after watching much of the Olympics opening ceremonies (and a few events), considering how spread out the venues are, I think it’s great that the Olympic Committee is providing Stargates to get between them.

The B team (production wise) is at the Olympics cause the A team is at the Super Bowl. BOTH on NBC.

Fairly obvious it was NBC’s “B” team or perhaps, the "C or “D” camera/ production teams in Italy. The horrifying screams of poor 0000000Lindsey Vonn as she broke her leg should have been cut/edited. NBC didn’t bother to mute the sound in reruns, either-or so I read. We immediately turned our TV off.

Real-life misery, not concocted fiction. Must we absorb another’s horrific pain in our intrusive, “Need to Know”:

I suspect that I’m not the only one watching the Olympics (all on Peacock streaming, so not in sequence; NO SPOILERS!)

I suspect I’m also not the only one needing a small break from watching the competition. So if you want to see behind-the-scenes from the athlete’s POV, this guy seems to have some good stuff:

I watched The Great Irish Songbook a special with the Irish Band, Dervish on PBS.

Out of practice tolerating the pledge pitches, but this concert is first rate with guests such as the Indigo Girls,

Here is a link to a trailer

We’ve been binging “Sherlock” the TV series- w/ a female Watson as his sober partner. My husband is a big Conan Doyle fan. We’ve watched most adaptations, even the Basil Rathbone contemporary ones( decent acting/ awful plot-lines) from 1930’s/40’s where Sherlock and Watson are fighting the Nazis.

I had begun this, wondering if anyone had watched YOUNG SHERLOCK on Prime, if it was worth the watching. Since beginning this comment, we watched the first episode. Typical Guy Ritchie, if you saw his other Holmes movies. Great costumes; clever plot..

Now, into the second episode-it’s falling into cliches-Colin Firth, alias Mr. Darcy, may be a villain-UNFORGIVABLE Would like to hear other’s opinions.
