Your account will be migrated to DD+7 on March 12

Less than a week away is March 5th, when DD+7 will begin for us.

Wonder if anyone has noticed a slowdown-or total lack of sales? Perhaps not since many of you will begin DD+7 a week later, on the 12th. We haven’t had any orders since Thursday, the 26th . Nothing yesterday, Friday or so far today, Sat., which are usually decent sales days. Very unusual for us.

So is this is how TPTB will work DD+7?

Suppress all sales the week before seller account is migrated and the “reserve” will be sales amount from the previous week. Short, simple, not even skillful… even AMZ’s vaunted AI can handle such…would theft be too harsh a word? Yes, since SELLERS WERE REPEATEDLY WARNED.

Of course it could be Spring Break season beginning; a thaw in the arctic temperatures, folks getting out after the deep-freeze, busy removing snow/ice during more temperate temps-aerating/seeding their yards. I tell myself that-and it’s definitely the start of tax season, a little early for the usual sales shutdown but in these hard times, perhaps people are completing -or paying- taxes early

TPTB couldn’t have timed it better. BE WARNED

I wouldn’t notice. For some reason, I’m not getting any BB for the last few weeks (I think because of cancellations; all customer initiated and “don’t count against metrics”, but I can’t think of anything else). I’ve had almost no orders; so the change over will not be a big deal for me; I can make it if they hold my $50 for an extra week or two.

now that you mention it, No sales since Wednesday the 25th.

We get DD+7 on March 5th also. We had zero sales from 2/20, 2/21, 2/22, & 2/23. During this time we notice that both Canada and Brazil were deactivated. We decided to take a look at Canada and all we needed to do was to provide a utility bill. We tried to upload it twice and the system said it couldn’t do it both times. We gave up. The next day 2/24 it showed that Canada and Brazil were Healthy again. We started to get orders again. And within a few minutes, we were at risk of deactivation on the US site. We checked and Amazon wanted another address verification where Amazon sends you the card with the verification code. We submitted and got the card by 2/26. Sales were back to normal (maybe a little better) until today (but today isn’t over yet so ???).

We asked a couple of questions on NSFE about the DD+7 payout and got this info back from KJ_Amazon …

Our Questions

@KJ_Amazon … we have looked but didn’t find these answers

First Question

With DD+7, is the +7 done as business days or calendar days?

Second Question(s)

We have AHT & SSA enabled. We use Amazon Buy Shipping 100% of the time. Our orders have Claim Protection and OTDR Protection. We ship using USPS Ground Advantage less than 1lb. USPS sometimes looses a package or delivers it well after the last deliver by date on the order. If USPS has not delivered it by the last deliver by date on the order, we will be paid as last deliver by date on the order +7? If USPS looses an order, we will be paid by the last deliver by date on the order +7?

KJ_Amazon’s reply

@Lost_My_Marbles I will check with our team regarding business/calendar dates.

Shipments use actual delivery date when tracking is provided, and estimated delivery date when no tracking is attached to a shipment. We recommend using tracked shipments whenever possible to help ensure visibility and customer satisfaction. For additional details, go to Payments Based on Delivery Date.

For shipments with tracking, the funds will be released 7 days after the delivery date. For shipments without tracking, the funds will be released 7 days after the estimated delivery date.

If a tracked order is not marked as delivered by the carrier, the funds will be released 7 days after the latest estimated delivery date. If you see any payments still in reserve past the expected date please reach out to Seller Support to investigate.

@TEXASEXILEBOOKS … thinking we are going to take a pic of the payment page the night before the change (Wednesday 3/4) and compare it to Thursday 3/5.

I’m guessing they will do their normal crap and it will be 12AM PST for the switch. I usually am up pretty late but I’m not sure I want to stop catching up on recorded shows at 1:59AM CST to do that…

FYI … today 3/5/2026 is our change over to DD+7 day. The orders from 3/3/2026 that were sent out today were paid out NORMAL (in other words, those orders were paid AVAILABLE today).

So when your DD+7 day comes, orders prior to that day will be paid out NORMAL when shipped on your change over date and orders that come in ON that date will begin your DD+7.

The Custom Unified Transaction Report now has 2 additional columns, I’m sure in preparation for the DD+7 transformation.

I had a FBA order today and it has been shipped. The proceed was added to what was already in “Available now”. There is nothing listed in any of the other lines. So this 3/5 order’s payment was handled the same way as always.

According to the email I received: “on March 5, 2026, we’ll update your account reserve settings to the standard reserve period of seven days after delivery date (DD+7)”. So could all the problem Amazon is having right now with their website, delayed their implementing of the change today?

There is a major change to the order detail pages going on.

Our DD+7 didn’t hit either but the orders we shipped were from 2 days ago.

We think it was this detail page change that caused the issue. The DD+7 is probably like the late change that happened with the USPS pricing … remember that was a month late.

Well, it looks like I just got migrated early…all the funds I could request for disbursement as of yesterday have now been taken away from me and held “in reserve”. You would think this would work on all sales after the changeover date, but Amazon likes being greedy as we all know..

Just checked ours … everything went to Account Level Reserve …

When looking at paid orders after the last payout for us on 02/22/2026, we can see the following

|DDate|DD+7|Original Payment|

|02 27|03 06|02 23|
|03 02|03 09|02 26|
|03 02|03 09|02 27|
|03 02|03 09|02 27|
|03 02|03 09|02 27|

First column is Delivery Date
Second column is Delivery Date plus 7
Third column is the Original Date the order was paid (shipped)

From this list, there is one order that should be released today 03/06/26 if DD+7 works on a calendar day but, if DD+7 works on business days), then it wouldn’t be released until 03/10/2026.

The money in reserve is all money due as all shipping charges and Amazon fees have been paid. We will be watching this number to see where future shipping charges and Amazon fees are taken from.

Edit Add
We do have the Request Payment button now which we didn’t have before.

I’m due for fund delay/repatriation on the 12th and have only had one sale since the outage.

I do have two orders from early yesterday to ship so I will see if they screw me over this afternoon when I put in tracking numbers…:face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth::face_with_symbols_on_mouth:

On my Payment, Net proceeds, the amount (for 2/27/2026 - Present) just went down $82.45 (moved to Account level reserve).

Took some time to figure out that $82.45 were for the 2 FBA orders that were shipped yesterday, and 2 FBM orders that were shipped earlier this week but haven’t been delivered yet. We don’t really know the delivery date for FBA orders, so it’s be hard to figure out, down the road, which order’s preceed are in “Reserve”, etc. So I probably won’t be keeping tracking of them.

Is this what yours looks like?

The “Request Payment” buttons are greyed out, maybe because the “Funds Available Now” are all showing “0”, eventhough, at the bottom of the page, it does show an amount to be transferred on 3/13/26. Don’t know how to request that amount to be transfered now.

Yes …

Ours is showing …

if your available balance remains $0.00, no transfer will be initiated on this date.

That is what we are trying to figure out … how would you ever know which order you really got paid for. Unless the transaction page changes to show what order is truely released from reserve, how would you ever know?

I received a “Disbursement Attempted” + “Your payment is on the way” message today. (It was a small amount).

I was supposed to be migrated yesterday.

This one does show $$$ amount. :down_arrow:

So, I think I’d at least get that amount on 3/13/26. Hopefully some of the money in reserve might move and add into that too. :crossed_fingers:

When Amazon sends the ominous “Disbursement Attempted” emails, it sound as though one’s request for funds was DENIED!

Reading further, it turns out to be a normal acknowledgment of Amazonian obfuscation.

I am not liking this new scheme. As an Amazon seller of many years, I have always been able to request disbursements once every 24 hours.

Is there a class action suit we can join? Amazon’s take here is huge!

Either way it shows $0.00. Our transfer date is 3/8/2026. We have one order delivered 02/27/2026 which DD+7 would be 03/06/2026 (or if you add a day 03/07/2026). If Amazon is using the estimated delivery date on the order 03/02/2026, then DD+7 will end up being 03/09/2026.

The order was placed on 02/19/2026 and it is looking like it will be a month (03/22/2026) before we receive payment. Meanwhile, Amazon got their fees and the shipping cost on 02/23/2026.

Now that TPTB have begun the migration (several orders are now reflected as deferred orders), perhaps the glitch-fest everyone has reported will be over.

We now, for the first time, can REQUEST PAYMENTS on DAILY BASIS since didn’t ever have that ability before. In business 14 years, we began selling approx 6 months too late to have that ability. .

Will still have to wait more than 14 days before we get paid for orders since our fulfillment averages 7.7 days(per AMAZON) + another 7 days= 14.7 days flucuation on EACH order. I have calculated this correctly, I hope.

@selg, or anyone else, if you hear of a class action- PM me
