I did all of that, got an email that I was approved and thought that was it. Then I got the same banner on my homepage.
After calling and talking to them, the +1 was missing from my phone number. I edited that, submitted and they told me a card with a code would be mailed to my address for verification. Haven’t received the card yet but I’m assuming it will have instructions where to enter to code for verification.
You might want to check the phone number under business information. If it doesn’t have the +1, add it and submit. It will still say your account is in jeopardy but it you submit any changes, it is supposed to send out that card.
WTF ! …
So we went into the Business Address and Phone Number to check today (again) and Amazon decided to put in our personal name, personal street address and cell phone number. We changed it back to the business name, business address and business line.
Check … recheck … and recheck … your info until this is done …
Mine was changed to my personal address too. I used the “select an address” link and chose my business address (p.o. box). It says I am verified and the banner is gone, but who knows for how long.
Thanks for sharing. Congrats on the banner disappeared and the sales returned. In my case, even though the deactivation banner is still up, the sales continues as normal. I wonder how many people lose sales while the deactivation banner is up.
Strange. My phone verification was different. After entering the phone number, Amazon texted me the PIN. I entered that PIN and the phone was verified. No card was mailed out for address verification. I wonder why we went through a different process. Thanks for sharing though.
I’ve got you beat. All I did was look at mine. Looked to see what I would be needing and never clicked beyond that point. Next day all alerts were gone.
Fingers crossed.
I never did get an email. Never have been re-verified (knock wood).
Congrats! Please let us know if it comes back like some people here or something negative happened (like aerides that Amazon limited his selling services).
Yea, I figured the Banners showing up for mine was complete glitch and when discovered it all just went away on it’s own as they probably don’t count me a needing to be re-verified at this point. I expect that anyone with an account new enough to have gone through Identity verification at start up probably only need to re-verify bank account before the “official” roll out. I bet this shenanigans with the banners is so that there is a way to get people to notice it is time to do their yearly checks in the future.
