Fun with Wild Animals

Quick thinking!

It freaked me out… He was down in less than 10 seconds from me walking in the door.

Wow that is scary. I wasn’t worried about strings from my blinds since my sons are way past childhood. Dewey likes to bat at the ends from his tower, I will be shortening them tomorrow!

Fixed!

It’s not hard to figure why that was blocked (term knobber familiar?)

TY!

For a number of reasons I agree but what are we going to do when we get a cabinet hardware seller on here or maybe a door hardware seller?

I didn’t mean that I agree with blocking it – just that I understand why the system would have included that in the blocked list.

No worries, I know.

I’d like to see this list, Knob seems aggressive in terms of censoring IMO.

@Pepper_Thine_Angus - It’s still blocked btw… Is this something that updates on Wednesdays?

No rush really. I have no plans to use the word Knob in a post for the foreseeable future.

ETA - it’s only blocking while writing…

Knob should be ok. You may have to reload the page.

Otherwise yeah the Wednesday rebuild will flush that out

Interesting. That one had escaped me for all these years. NOW I have to wonder/worry about all those Knob Hill Golf Courses around the country not to mention where it could lead for marketing for these guys —

Funny. Ollie’s tower is next to a window. I keep looking at this thing and I can’t figure out for the life of me how he tangled himself up in a single string. I guess it’s good because had this happened when we weren’t around he would have eventually been able to get himself out.

With that said, he was going crazy so the thrashing was probably only making it tighter. He initially was limping for about 10 mins after that and last night he was jumping literally 5 feet in the air trying to get his toy while I played with him so no damage done…

I can’t picture how he could have done that in a single string either. Talented kitten! Glad he recovered so quickly and thoroughly. Poor guy has already been through enough in his young life.

He’s used 2 of his nine lives here already.

When we was really small he fell asleep in our electric reclining couch and I hit the button not knowing he was in there and he screamed…

No notable or visible injuries but he is a smart one. Never went into the couch again.

Maybe you should get him a helmet and armor!

Those eyes in the first picture… Not Happy! I know that face.

Very happy to hear that.

He’s been a Mr. Sleepy head lately. On my lap 24/7. He’s the 7th cat we’ve had since 1998. Never had a cat like this. He’s such a mush. He also plays fetch with pretty much anything like a dog.

We had another cat that did that too. It’s pretty funny.

I think one of my cats is a reincarnated dog. When it close to the time I get home she will wait in the front window, and when I pull in the driveway she jumps off the table and meets me at the back door. She is the only cat I have met that will come if I call her, and follows me around just like a dog.

My other girl is a very traditional aloof cat.
