Fun with Wild Animals

No wolves, but we do have coyotes often.
Deer are everywhere here, (why our area is called “Bucks County”) had a lovely lady somehow get into the fence and walk into the pool, found her just walking around the shallow end. Seemed to be enjoying herself, I left her be she was gone within the hour.
Deer will stroll right up onto the front porch and eat hostas and geraniums. Those spray deterrents don’t work, save your money.
Raccoons open the deck box nighty and help themselves to the bread left for the birds.
Mama Opossum has shredded the shallow end of our pool cover three years in a row, to use the pool steps to bathe her babies.
I’m so desensitized to it - almost like they’re pets .

Pretty sure the Hitchcock birds were not pigeons

There were a variety of different species used in the flocks (Hitch claimed that more than 3000 avians were specially trained for the film), including pigeons - but I wouldn’t say that those were the most-prominent bird in any of the scenes - that ‘honor’ would seem more befitting of the participating ravens, or the gulls.

Time to order something small (and ideally fragile) FBA to be shipped in an oversized box with no padding, so you can replace the box!

as you can imagine I’m in heaven <3
They are my loves, every single one of them.
I have a lot of convincing to do but just maybe there’s room here for (these) 2 more.
They grow up so fast. The “Trio of Terror” will be having their 9 month birthday celebration in a few days. They’re just about all grown up at around 10 pounds each, Lola is still around 8.8, a bit slighter than her brothers. They find every shoe, sock, toy or whatever may mysteriously finds itself out of place and it immediately becomes something of a game between the 3 of them. Since there are 3 they are really a force. i spend most of the day laughing at them, comical to watch the antics they pull. Always in trouble. All day every day.
What’s 2 more?

I haven’t posted much about my cat Buzzy lately. He is doing great and enjoying life. He is very devoted to me which is good, but sometimes he seems to want frequent attention especially when I’m not available to provide it for him.

After much consideration, I finally decided that Buzzy needed a playmate. Soooooo…

This week I adopted a kitten from the local animal shelter. He is about 2-3 months old and very active and playful. Buzzy can be very active at times so I think this little fireball can match his activity level. I just brought the kitten home today so they are still getting used to each other but so far, so good.

I haven’t named the kitten yet as I am still considering several names. I’m still calling him by his shelter name which is Bud but that will change.

So may I present to you this little cutie:

Yes, his stripes are beautiful. I’ll try to get a photo of him from the front some time. His stripes from that angle have perfect alignment.
