Still going on.
All orders from Wednesday require USPS priority shipping or faster. What is the point with going with SAS if it is going to screw up 50% of the orders.

@Thelunatick , it is happening to us this morning also.
I see a post on the NSFE with 5 other sellers.
Feels like a glitch may have occurred, again.
I do have the UPS Ground Saver label available.
I don’t even have that option. The orders this effects are $10 orders, I am not going to pay $8 and change for shipping so the order is a total loss because of Amazon’s damn glitches.
This is why I still keep stamps.com I would rather roll the dice on an INR then take a definate loss.
I jumped on 3 NSFE posts and tagged Josh_Amazon since he recently replied to someone else on a different post.
Amazon is playing with another twist …
We have AHT ans SSA enabled so Amazon sets both Handle Time and Transit Time. Remember, Amazon said Amazon could set the estimated delivery time better.
We have two orders that today is the last day to ship. All of our orders are being estimated by Amazon using USPS Ground Advantage (less than 1lb) therefore one would expect that when you purchase the label that USPS Ground Advantage (less than 1lb) would meet the estimated delivery time. BUT NOT TODAY!
Today, we find this when purchasing the label.
Take a minute to read Amazon Buy Shipping protection link in the info pop out box.
So even if you have AHT and SSA enabled AND use Amazon Buy Shipping, this does NOT mean that Amazon will honor INR claims OR OTDR protection.
Both of these images have been removed from the order detail page and only appear now when you are on the Amazon Buy Shipping page.
The above order shows us shipping Monday Nov 18, 2024 the last ship by date using USPS Ground Advantage (less than 1lb) with both protections available. When we print the label on Monday, we will see if the system still shows the protections.
I had opened a case with Usless SS.
I just updated it that the problem is now worse.
The TLDR of my message: Yes we are aware and have notified the department. stop bugging us
Followed up with a post on NSFE on a thread.
Tagged KJ_Amazon to see if we could get a response.
That will be interesting, if one is forthcoming.
How many angels can dance on the head of a pin?
KJ just replied in a different thread here [link] plus the other 3 threads I can see.
KJ - who, as most of us almost-assuredly already know, has been the “Point Man” on BSS/MSS issues throughout most of the execrable ‘life’ of the NSFE - has been known to be throttled by Seattle’s TPTB (notably, on the Shipping Adjustments front).
Nevertheless, the available evidence strongly suggests that he has managed to roll some pretty-Sisyphean boulders up and over the crest of the hill he climbs; let us hope that yet again his gathering of anecdotal evidence from the Seller Community (Case Log IDs, Order IDs, screenshots of various GUI Dashboards, etc.) manages to pierce the ever-murky veil through which he plies his course…
This impacts both standard FBM and SFP orders, we’ve also opened cases with no traction. Our SAS rep is working on trying to get us a meeting with a relevant team as on the SFP end, metrics are much tighter for OTD.
We’ve pointed out to the people in support that the system creating the delivery date estimate cannot be correct if buy shipping is correct. And buy shipping cannot be correct if the delivery estimate is correct.
We’ve even provided additional evidence in the form of FedEx’s transit file from the warehouse that’s giving the most errors showing that things they’re classifying as a 1 day delivery from that warehouse is actually 2 days per the carrier.
Amabots.
Can’t love `em, can’t put 'em out of OUR misery…
Sigh.
Now it’s only getting worse.
Everything that has to ship by Monday the only methods to ship are UPS or Fedex 2nd day air.
I am not paying $20 to ship a $12 order.
Yes it is currently insane. I only show Fedex Ground Economy or FedEx/UPS 2 day air for an in-state 12oz package with a ship date of Monday, the 18th, and an allowable delivery date of Friday, the 22nd. According to Amazon, USPS Ground Advantage will take 7-8 days for going about 450 miles in state. Good lord. Pirateship/shipstation/stamps.com? 2 days estimated delivery.
Now what a responsible company would do is give blanket protection until the issue is fixed.
But the Amibots are infallible,
In case they are wrong see above.
We have a 3oz package going from TX to CA with ship by date Monday 18th and deliver by date of Thursday 21st … and we are able to buy USPS Ground Advantage (less than 1lb) through Amazon Buy Shipping.
Does your order show what delivery service was used to calculated the estimated delivery time? (like this …)
If so, what Shipping Service is being used to calculate the Delivery Promise?
yes USPS ground advantage, but it shows as not protected and the only protected services are 2nd day air services
Are you getting the Late Delivery Risk notice on the USPS Ground Advantage?
We got that last Friday on a couple of orders that needed shipping on Friday. Others on NSFE were complaining of the same thing. Amazon was aware and supposedly fixed it ( KJ_Amazon had stated this on NSFE ).
Just out of curiosity, what day did the order come down on?
Which USPS Ground Advantage service would have you normally used?
What day did your order come down?
Order was placed today, this morning around 700am ET. We have 1 day handling set, no SSA or AHT, but shipping template of 2-4 days. We never have a problem, and this template works from just about any order aside from the extreme west coast, in which case we use USPS Priority for higher amount items or just purchase off Amazon for low dollar items.
But just since either late Friday or early Saturday, they are calculating ALL USPS shipping estimates incorrectly. Right now, they literally have USPS Priority flat rate envelope at 5 days of transit time for one state away. We have always been able to USPS priority to west coast in 3 days. Something with their USPS estimates is crazy off right in the last day or two.
It started Friday Nov 15th. We are seeing extended times on USPS Ground Advantage (less than 1lb) in addition to the Late Delivery Risk issue.
Ship by date Monday 18th with deliver by date of 11/21. - Zone 6 - 1,300 miles
Ship by date Tuesday 19th with deliver by date of 11/26. - Zone 5 - 1,100 miles
If we ship by the last ship by date, Amazon Buy Shipping will show Late Delivery Risk on both orders.
The Zone 6 order at 1,300 miles has a 3 day transit and, if shipped on Monday 18th the last ship by date, Amazon Buy Shipping estimates delivery on Friday Nov 22nd ( 4 day transit ) and therefore put the Late Delivery Risk label on the shipment.
The Zone 5 order at 1,100 miles has a 3 day transit and, if shipped on Tuesday 19th the last ship by date, Amazon Buy Shipping estimates delivery on Tuesday Nov 26th ( 5 day transit with plus 2 weekend days or 6 day transit with plus one weekend day ) and therefore put the Late Delivery Risk label on the shipment.
We have both AHT and SSA enabled which is suppose to protect us from Late Shipment, INR and OTDR; however … when Amazon slaps the Late Delivery Risk label on the label you purchase, then you loose all of those protections. These new Amazon Buy Shipping delivery estimates are consistently 1 day after the Amazon calculated estimated delivery day presented on the order to the customer.
The other thing we have noticed that seems to have happened at the same time is this little gem.
It appears to us that Amazon is tweaking the numbers to take back part of the promises that were made if you did AHT and SSA with this Late Delivery Risk notification of shipping labels.
