Hi all, papy reporting in after being out of pocket for a week or so

My action priorities in the next week or so:

1. Updating/reformatting in Message Templates @Medic
2. Adding ⚡ New FEATURE Alert highlights: bookmarks and notification filtering.
3. General cleaning up, if needed–still going through tags, but please tag, flag, or PM where attention might be needed. There are 48 new topics! I’ll need your help!

So excited to find SAS! Long time lurker on NSFE, never a poster. Found you in a thread on NSFE, so HAPPY! I am thrilled to find the old timers for issues and advice. Though, technically I’m an old timer (sort of) too, been on amazon since 2016. Thank You, thank you for a message board that makes sense.

J/K - I didn’t just go ‘poof,’ and I ain’t presently ‘bloody’ - as has often proved to be the case in my long life, rumours of an untimely demise have been quite-unfounded in accuracy - I’ve actually known all along where, AND how, the SAS/#BSFE* was THE foremost among the Last Best Beacons Of Hope; there’s a reason (ipsis litteris, several of them) why I waited 146 days to apply for the privilege of membership in this august body (Yes, @Nutty_Nuisance, me dog-eared floppies have been a’burnin’ e’er since your “…Not giving up on you, buddy!” post in another non-NSFE discussion venue)

Please allow me to introduce myself**:

Long ago and far away, in both the Age of Jive and subsequently in the Age of Discourse of the OSFE, I was MOSTLY known as Dogtamer, and always used my “Self Portrait Of The Chowder-Head As A Young Straw-Boater” avatar, as is repeated here (admittedly, somewhat reluctantly - but after all, that’s what lawyers are for).

I qualify that ‘mostly’ with a few notable exceptions, for it must be admitted that in certain circles I was known by various other appellations, to wit:

1. Our friend Symbil delighted in knowing me as ‘DogtamerBot’ (an ‘endearment’ of ‘own coinage’; had WeResell been on his ChatGPT jag back then, I might’ve also ‘earned’ the “monicur” ‘ChatDog’)
2. Others swore that I was best-addressed as ‘Thesaurus Rex’ - a sub-set of which notion was ‘Mr. Fancy Talk,’ as I saw a time or more afore the shifting sands slipped so-shrewishly into the shrieking abyss
3. There were those who named me ‘Knothead’ (‘Knucklehead’ finished Place in that race, nosed out by a mere whisker’s breadth, while ‘Jarhead’ ran Show)
4. More than a few simply called me ‘Dog’ - and, in similar fashion, the same was true of both ‘DT’ & ‘Dawg’
5. Some - not many, but sadly nevertheless some - seemingly preferred ‘you sorry-■■■ so-and-so’… and/or other things rather even less-fitting for public consumption than that might seem to be for some of us
6. I was occasionally referred to as the ‘Rutabaga Kid’, or, in a similar vein, ‘Sir SpamALot’ - due, of course, to my oft-professed penchant for those underappreciated (oh, the heathens!) delectable goodies
7. And last but not least, there’s the ever-popular ‘WA’ (not to be confused with the seasoned and savvy forum vet who skillfully wielded that handle for many years), used as an acronym for a state I all-too frequently habituate: “Wrong Again”

All in all, I truly don’t mind what y’all call me - as long as it’s not too late for supper! (I may be old, but I ain’t Dan Tucker).

Now that I’ve finally found Nirvana, it seems that it’s time to tweak up the best of my PL-1200’s & spin me some long-cherished vinyl, ‘cause I believe I just might, at last, be a’ hearing Ella crooning a certain tune in me admittedly-feeble mind’s ear…

If version 4 (or 5, depending upon who’s counting) of the ASF (“Amazon Seller Forums”) was the OSFE (“Old Seller Forums Experience” in ‘SASsese’ [Yes, Virginia, I would wont call dibs on that sassy coinage]), and version 5/6 is the e’er-execrable NSFE, then I would submit that you can bet your bottom dollar that the SAS/SellersAskSellers Forum IS THE BSFE (“Best Seller Forums Experience”), with no fear of The #!@*% House raking in your chips, unfairly, come Hell or High Water.
